Lerner and Lowe’s classic musical based on George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Pygmalion’. My Fair Lady includes the wonderful ‘On The Street Where You Live’, ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’ and ‘I’m Getting Married in The Morning.'

Tip Top's September Theatr Clwyd show this year My Fair Lady calls for a large ensemble of Slum- dwelling cockneys and Upper class Ascot-goers. As well as the leads listed below, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone of all ages and abilities, with lots of cameo roles (speaking and non- speaking) to be considered. Eliza Doolittle (playing age 16-30) - A flower girl working in Covent Garden. Equally vulnerable as she is streetwise. Excellent RP and Cockney essential. Established Soprano. Henry Higgins (playing age 35-55) British upper class professional bachelor, world famous phonetics expert. Strong actor, with instant command and singing experience. Colonel Pickering (playing age 40-70) A retired officer with colonial experience. Good character actor with some singing experience. Freddy Eynsford-Hill (Playing age 18-35) Upper class young man, he becomes completely smitten with Eliza. Jolly chap. Strong tenor. Alfred P. Doolittle (playing age 40-70) Eliza's cockney father. Elderly but vigorous dustman. Singing and movement skills essential. Mrs Higgins (playing age 55-80) Upper class. Henry's long suffering mother. Mrs Eynsford-Hill (playing age 40+) Freddy's Mother. Harry (playing age 25+) Drinking companion of Alfred Doolittle. Singing and movement skills essential. Jamie (Playing age 25+) Drinking companion of Alfred Doolittle. Singing and movement skills essential. Mrs Pearce (Playing age 30+) Higgins' House Keeper. Kind face.
