Synopsis:

Come and follow the dastardly and disgusting deeds of Mr and Mrs Twit as they spend their days playing revolting tricks on each other and plotting to catch the Roly-Poly Bird who they want to put in a pie! From the director of 'The Witches' and 'The Boy Who Fell into A Book,' Tip Top takes us back into the wonderful world of Roald Dahl's imagaination. Recommended for ages 6+.

Production Team:
Directed by Phil Cross

Auditions:
Auditions will be held at forum Studio Theatre 11.30am on Sunday 11th November Email philcross@tiptopproductions.co.uk for audition pack CHARACTERS MR TWIT An agile, sprightly performer with great comedy timing, facial expressions and physical confidence. He needs to be able to do a handstand/headstand and climb a "tree". The Twits are grotesque and nasty but the children in the audience need to laugh at them not cry at the sight of them. He might be tall and skinny or short and squat. MRS TWIT A quick-moving physical performer who's not afraid to look hideous. Loud, brash and an evil twinkle in her eye. The Twits are grotesque and nasty but the children in the audience need to laugh at them not cry at the sight of them. She might be tall and skinny or short and squat. MR & MRS MUGGLEWUMP 16+ Performers with acrobatic and dance skills to the front! The story revolves around the revenge of this monkey family. These are speaking parts and will need confident performers to make sure the audience are on their side. Will be working alongside a small team of talented acro children, to create some circus style sequences. THE ROLY-POLY BIRD Male or female 16+. She or he is fabulous in every way. Flamboyant and confident with real stage presence and an instant likability. I'd love someone who can sing and dance. Flamenco dancing a bonus! NARRATOR Male or female 16+. The narrator holds the show together. I'm imagining them as a loud ringmaster/mistress. Must be a captivating storyteller. In an ideal world - a multi instrumentalist, with percussion skills to boot.
