Synopsis:
We return with another host of goodies in a traditional pantomime style.
There are generous discounts for families and group bookings.
So come and join Chester's panto team as they bring you lashings of fun, slapstick, song and oh yes...corny jokes by the score.

Cast:
Dick Whittington- A traditional female part-strong singer
Cat- good movement essential
Idle Jack- Young comic type with big personality
Sarah the Cook- Traditional Dame (male)
Captain Fitzwarren- Middle aged, lots of comedy
Alice Fitzwarren- Young, pretty, strong singer
Fairy- Could be any age from 16 to 70
King Rat- Baddie but scope for comedy

Auditions:
Update - Dancing chorus auditions will now also take place on September 12th at 2.00pm. 12 dancers required for 2 teams of 6, age 16+ on 11th December initially. Principal auditions will also include a short 'movement' section led by the choreographer.
Open auditions will take place for this year's pantomime at The Forum Studio Theatre on Sunday 12th September at 2.00pm. Director Gareth Pierce is looking to bring together a vibrant cast to perform Dick Whittington in the traditional pantomime format, written for Tip Top as always, by Peter Swingler.
Dick Whittington runs from the 11th to the 30th of December with a total of 28 performances. There are also some daytime shows, so due to the large commitment that this entails, and/or cast member work commitments, some parts could be shared by 2 actors/actresses. The main cast is an adult cast (16+) and there will be a small dancing chorus, again which may be split into 2 teams.
To audition you will be required to perform various scenes and also sing. You may bring music of your own choice - sheet or backing track; or a suitable song will be provided for you by the musical director. There will also be a 'movement' audition with the choreographer.
