Getting Involved With Tip Top
Membership
Tip Top Productions are always looking for new members to keep the company moving. We enjoy seeing new faces at each production, whether it is for pure enjoyment of helping out or as a principle player on stage. If you would like to become more involved, why not start by joining our membership database and receiving our newsletter? Then come and help front of house and meet some of the team or come audition?
To become a member of Tip Top Productions is only £20. The membership year runs from September 1st to August 31st. If you would like to apply to become a member click here for our membership form. Once this is submitted you will shortly be contacted by a member of the committee to come along and visit the theatre, have a look around, and maybe meet some of the company if there is a show in production.
If you decide you are interested in appearing on stage with Tip Top and you audition successfully then we request an Appearance Fee of £20. This helps towards covering all production costs from wardrobe to props and sets to theatre hire! This fee does not apply if you are helping out with a show either back-stage or Front of house. If you appear on stage in more than one production within a season which starts in September, then the appearance fee is reduced by £5 each subsequent time until you pay only £10 per show.
Submit a membership application by completing our membership form or follow the email link from this page if you have specific questions.

Male actor-get your kit off!
Male actor wanted for Tip Top comedy but…he must be prepared to reveal all!
Peter Swingler, director of Tip Top's forthcoming production of the riotous comedy "Funny Peculiar", urgently seeks an actor to tackle the leading role of Trevor. Peter explains " It's a great part for an actor between the ages of 25-40; he has some terrific scenes including one in which he forgets to collect his clothes after an amorous night out!" The original production was first staged at Liverpool's Everyman Theatre starring Julie Walters and in the West End Trevor was played by the late Richard Beckinsdale. There is currently a professional tour of the play produced by Bill Kenwright and starring Corrie actors."
"Funny Peculiar" is at the Forum Theatre, Chester from 10th -19th May with rehearsals starting in late March. Interested actors please get in touch to arrange an audition.
